Tango en el Conventillo al ritmo de 2x4, transcurre en un lugar que fue una mansión y luego un conventillo.
En el epicentro del histórico barrio de San Telmo, cuna de Buenos Aires, ¨Tango en el Conventillo al ritmo del 2x4 ” transcurre en el salón o en un patio de una vieja mansión que fue el hogar de una familia de la aristocracia porteña y luego inquilinato o conventillo dónde llegaron a vivir hasta 33 familias provenientes de diferentes partes del mundo que convivieron con sus diferentes idiomas, gastronomía, oficios y costumbres.
Esta casa tiene exactamente la misma edad que el tango, que nació en la misma época entre las clases populares, con la fusión de aportes afroamericanos, criollos y europeos.
Todo está guardado en la memoria de esta casa, la única en Buenos Aires que conserva su arquitectura con aires aristocráticos, de estilo italianizante, mezclado con la energía del conventillo y de todas/ todos los inmigrantes que la habitaron.Esta identidad porteña vive en estos patios, que el tango ha sabido abrazar, mediante el baile y su música, presente en celebraciones y festejos.
Este show homenajea al conventillo que fue el primer hogar del tango bailado, el tango canción y las pequeñas agrupaciones que comenzaron a interpretarlo, son ellos quienes generaron mediante su difusión, el ser porteño.
Nuestro espectáculo recorre algunas etapas de la música ciudadana y su danza, tan importante y conocida a nivel mundial.
Patrimonio cultural de la humanidad, esta música conforma un Buenos Aires de antaño, pero también actual, con sus grandes compositores, Gardel, Razzano, Piazzolla, serán representados en este cuarteto de músicos profesionales del circuito porteño.
Show de 45 minutos, con orquesta conformada por piano, violín, bandoneón y cantante. Pareja de bailarines.

In the heart of the historic San Telmo neighborhood, the cradle of Buenos Aires, “Tango en el conventillo” unfolds in the hall or patio of an old mansion that was once the home of an aristocratic Buenos Aires family and later a tenement where up to 33 families from different parts of the world lived together, bringing their diverse languages, cuisines, trades, and customs.
This house is exactly the same age as tango, which was born in the same era among the popular classes, with a fusion of Afro-American, Creole, and European influences.
Everything is preserved in the memory of this house, the only one in Buenos Aires that retains its aristocratic architecture with Italianate style, mixed with the energy of the tenement and all the immigrants who lived there. This Buenos Aires identity lives in these patios, which tango has embraced through dance and music, present in celebrations and festivities.
This show pays homage to the tenement, which was the first home of danced tango, tango song, and the small groups that began to
interpret it. They are the ones who, through their dissemination, created the Buenos Aires identity. Our show covers some stages of urban music and its dance, so important and well-known worldwide. A cultural heritage of humanity, this music shapes a Buenos Aires of yesteryear, but also of today, with its great composers, Gardel, Razzano, Piazzolla, represented by this quartet of professional musicians from the Buenos Aires circuit.
